Editorial Review: Product Description: Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - New Moon = Great 2nd bookThe Twilight series is a very enthralling story of love and life. New Moon is the 2nd of 4 books in this series and is as captivating as the first. Definitely read the books in order though as I could see how it would be confusing if you did not. Rating: - Missing EdwardNew Moon was very good, especially toward the last third of the book. I didn't enjoy it as much as Twilight, but it was also very good. What I most enjoyed about Twilight was the love storyline between Bella and Edward. In New Moon I missed that, though I understood they were building the Jacob Black character. All in all, I liked New Moon quite a bit and am looking forward to reading Eclipse. For Twilight fans, definitely continue reading on. Rating: - Two stars for Jacob BlackI have just completed New Moon and unfortunately found it to be a dissappointment. I had expected Meyer's writing mechanics and characterization to become stronger as this was her second book but unfortunately, she did not come through. Bella's characterization in this novel makes this story nearly un-readable. She spends the the entire book in a self indulgent funk that both brings down and frustrates the reader. I am a female, though now out of my teens, and folks, Bella's reaction to events ... She's 14 Rating: - Great book!I'm a little old for these books...I know. And I've read a LOT of vampire books over the years, but these are so romantic - something that's been lost (sacrificed for sex, which isn't terrible, mind you...but the romance was missed!)in some adult vampire novels. I am really enjoying this series! Browse for similar items by category:
