Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
The success of Under Siege made a sequel mandatory according to Hollywood's rules of maximum revenue, and as sequels go, this one's not half bad. Steven Seagal returns as former Navy SEAL and skilled chef Casey Ryback, who's trying to spend quality time with his niece on a cross-country train trip. But as luck and action-movie formulas would have it, the train has been hijacked by a demented genius (Eric Bogosian) who is using the train as a moving platform to seize computerized control of a top-secret U.S. satellite that is capable of causing earthquakes from space. Seagal has to stop the train or the villain (whichever comes first), and the action is fast and furious on its way to a high-speed climax. He's not as wacky as Tommy Lee Jones in the first Under Siege, but Bogosian has got a delirious quality that serves the comic-book plot, and action fans get more than their fill of dazzling stunts and special effects. --Jeff Shannon

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Instead of wearing an apron that says "Kiss the Cook," Seagal's says "Kiss the Rings B---h."
For several months we have been searching every video store in hopes of finding Under Siege 2: Dark Territory, only to come up short time and time again. We even checked every $5 bin with exhaustion. The only thing we could come across was Under Siege which we have already watched/reviewed/loved but never it's b counterpart #2. So this past Sunday after a nice day of NFL action half of Sid was poking around his local blockbuster when something magnificent happend. Looking through some videos for ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Hilarious! Funny in all of the wrong places.
One of my all time favorite comedies. Watch as hardened mercenaries nearly crap themselves at the very mention of "Casey Ryback's" name. Chock full of one-liners so corny, you'll run to the kitchen for butter and salt.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Quality thriller & knuckle fest
Great stuff - this is soooo entertaining!

Doomsday weapons, nutty villains, brutal terrorists, a snotty niece and tons of quality violence and explosions. It even includes some recipes. What more do you want?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Guilty Pleasure That is as Good As The First
I don't care shoot me, but I think this movie is as good as or even better than the first Under Siege. Sure the movie is a little cheesier in some areas, but the plot and action is to me better than its predecessor. The fight scenes in the first film are in the dark and majorly censored. The fight scene with Tommy Lee Jones and Steven Seagal wasn't that great, really short. In this sequel there is plenty of more action, and the violence is not censored at all. This movie also marks the first out ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Runaway Sequel
There's no denying one thing: "Under Siege 2", directed by Geoff Murphy ("xXx: State Of The Union"), is one of Seagal's biggest movies. Shot on a $60 million budget, the follow-up to the top-grossing "Under Siege" promises big, and features Seagal's most endearing film persona - former Navy SEAL Casey Ryback - taking the fight to a moving train.

The storyline: Ryback, now retired from the Navy, joins his niece (Katherine Heigl, "Roswell") on a train ride to Los Angeles so they may visit ... Read More
