Editorial Review:

Description:
Kyle has always relied on his golden pot-of-gold charm to bring him extraordinary luck. When he loses the charm, however, he discovers the truth about his background -- he's act ually part Leprechaun. Now, Kyle finds himself in a race against time to defeat the charismatic thief who took the charm before he gains control of all the Leprechauns. In the process, Kyle learns that he is capable of making his own luck.

Amazon.com:
A movie about a middle schooler losing his lucky medallion and morphing into a leprechaun may be no match for Britney and the boys in the tween turn-on arena, but Luck of the Irish is not without its charms. Ryan Merriman plays Kyle Johnson, basketball whiz and all-around It boy, who's flummoxed by school Heritage Day--as far as he knows, he's from Cleveland. A little rooting around reveals not just Irish but leprechaun roots, and then things really get freaky--Kyle's ears go Vulcan and the slam-dunker's suddenly a shrinky-dink. Juicing up the high jinks here are a must-win basketball game and the devotion of a do-gooder gal pal. Luck, produced by the Disney Channel, not only has bright young actors on its side, it's also studded with moments of goofball funniness. Present it as the pot of gold at the end of a dreary school day, then dust it off again for St. Patty's. --Tammy La Gorce

My little brother was "moved" and he thought a lot about his heritage. Our whole family now recognizes that it is important to know your heritage and be proud of it

Makes me miss the old country. Amusing movie. Makes you stop and think about your own heritage and how you can make it a part of your self.

Besides the fact that you get the treat of staring at Ryan Merriman- This movie itself is AWESOME.
