- Havahart Rabbit Trap
The vendor sent the trap quickly and it arrived in perfect condition. I have allready caught 5 rabbits and one opossum. They were all happy and healthy when I released them in the State forest!!....Don't know what I will do if I happen to get a skunk though???Guess I will just let him go!!! Make sure to buy the trap size for the annimals you are trapping. A rabbit will sometimes not set off the bigger traps meant for raccoons. - Good choice for squirrels
I had a female squirrel chew through a gable vent and make a nest for herself (and babies) in our attic. This trap is a good choice for squirrels -- rat "snap" traps are too small. The model 1040 trap is a slightly better choice -- it has the same width and height, but is a little longer, making it less likely that the squirrel's "butt" will hold the door open.

I bought this for Pine squirrels, but it's a little big for this task. The 1025 works a little bit better here. But, like all Havaharts it's a great trap.

The trap has insufficient sensitivity to catch small rabbits. It's a wonderful feeder though.

This small trap is just the ticket for snaring pesky skunks and polecats. It is easy to bait, set and the trap mechanism is mechanically fool-proof. The trap is very light and easy to handle. I very highly recommend this trap for those not intending a destructive trap.
