- Wearer beware: watch scratches very easily!
This is my second purchase of this watch style. And as previously reported by me and others, within 2 weeks of actively wearing it, I brushed against a door, and knew immediately that the watch crystal was scratched. Not a bad scratch, but a wakeup call to be more careful. It is a shame that these watch faces scratch so easily, because this watch is a great performer. Nothing fancy, it tells time, it's water resistant, has an alarm, a timer and a countdown timer. I'm an electrician so I look for something that is durable and has few metal parts. This watch fits the bill just fine.

I've had them before, I can get a couple of years out of it before the face is too scratched up to read it anymore. Then I get a new one.

The watch works great so far. I have owned several ironman watches before this one, and when the specs said "99 lap counter" I mistakenly thought it meant 99 lap RECALL. It only counts them, and you get the total et. Otherwise it is fine.

I purchased this same exact model Timex ATLANTIS LCD watch 1 month ago, but I purchased the one with the Stainless Steel & Black combo Fliplock Metal band. This watch is very sharp looking. I love it so much that I just purchased and received a 2nd Timex LCD Atlantis LCD watch exactly just like the 1st one that I own. I wanted to have 2 on hand just in case this particular model gets discontinued anytime soon.
