I wanted to wait until I had used these for awhile before reviewing them, based on the other reviews I had read. After more than 7 months I still like these as much as I did the day I got them. Our household sees less cooking than most..only a few days per week. We also do not use a dishwasher, but these are easy enough to hand wash. they are durable but if used daily will be worn out after a year...but at this price you can replace them and not sweat it. We use them for everything and they DO protect counters without anything else underthem...they wash well, and as I said before the price is right....enjoy
