The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. The watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet)--suitable for swimming but not for diving. All Timex heart rate monitor sensors have batteries that can be replaced by consumers without requiring them to be returned to the manufacturer.

- Ironman Watch Rocks
This watch is the best fairly inexpensive heart rate monitor I have had. Not only does it keep accurate records, it stores both lap information and heart rate information for you to be able to record after your workout. Even when I am not using the heart rate monitor this watch has been awesome.

Silly me -- the word Midsize did not register. When I got it, it was easy to see that it was a GIRLIE watch. Amazon was good with the return/refund process, though. Then I ordered a watch for a DUDE.

It is stylish, it is comfortable, but it NOT and accurate calorie counter. For a 30 minute walk with an average HR of 140 bpm, it calculated a calorie expenditure of 366 calories. Oh, that it were so! I contacted Timex customer service, who actually gave me the formula for how they calculate calories burned. The formula and the HRM gave entirely different numbers. Got this watch for my wife who does indoor cycling. She loves the watch. The watch is midsize and looks and works great. Highly recommended. Great price on Amazon.

Well so far so good it does what wew wanted it to do. Though I have not been able to get any information on how it calculates calories burnt, the numbers it gives are much higher then what we get from any of the workout equipment we use.

The big comment I have is when they say mid size they really should say child size. My wife has small wrists but even she has to use the last third of the holes on the on the band.

It does what it is suposed to do so I cannot fault it there ... Read More
