Modeled after the much-imitated LP Generation II® Bongos, the LP Music Collection Mini Tunable Bongos are constructed from kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak. LP's mini percussion products are replicas of their full size counterparts. Each instrument provides quality sound in a small size. These make great gift items, desk accessories or perfect "tote-able" instruments for playing on the go. They feature 3-1/2" and 4-1/8" calf skin heads, chrome plated hardware, miniature Comfort Curve® II Rims, and rubber bottoms to prevent them from marring any surface. The 4" tall bongos are fully tunable and produce quality tones.

I purchased this set of bongos as a birthday present for my 7 year-old son. They came out of the box pretty much ready to play, just a few turns of the tuning wrench had them good to go. I was pretty impressed by the sturdy construction and the real skin heads.

My son has been happily beating on this set for a couple of weeks now, and he seems to really be enjoying them. The skins have broken in now with the frequent playing, and that has softened the tone a little. This set really packs ... Read More
