I use this product weekly to clean my smooth top stove. It works really well. You do have to purchase the pads to use with it more frequently than the cleaner, at least I do. It does the job.

it worked but if you had a straight razor scraper( like the one you use for removing paint from windows) and some foaming 409 it would have done the same thing for about $5.00 it is not worth the money

Lets face it, we all have done something to the top of our smooth top ranges! I for instance always seem to a person spill gravy on a burner I just turned off, or have something boil over occassionly! This stuff really works well. It is like waxing your car almost! put a few small drops on and rub with the yellow scrub pad. Then wipe off with a soft cloth or paper towel to get a great shine.
