When purchasing a cable cheap the rational tends to be A) how much can they really screw up a cable and B) if it sucks i didn't pay anything for it, usually making things a winners bet because you have set up a scenario where you can't really lose. I ordered this cable because I needed a rather long optical cable. I am very happy with it. I have been using it for my ps3 for a few weeks and it is wonderful. No issues whatsoever.
