The National Flag of Ireland (Irish: An Bhratach N?i, known as the Irish tricolour, was adopted officially in 1919 by the the state called Ireland (?re in Irish), sometimes known as the Republic of Ireland & given constitutional status under the 1937 Constitution of Ireland. The tricolour is regarded by many nationalists as the national flag of the whole of island of Ireland and thus it is often controversially flown by many nationalists in Northern Ireland as well as by the Gaelic Athletic Association.

These look like they would be great flags, and I ordered one, however, it never was sent to me. It looks as though more than one company is selling this flag, so if you're interested in it, DO NOT buy from sevenbrothersmercantile. As I said, I ordered one a month ago and never received it. I also emailed him to inquire about the order and after I asked him point blank if he had sent it, he stopped replying my emails. I only gave this flag 4 stars because I was not prepared for the fact that the flag didn't have a pocket for a flag pole. It has metal gromets that I didn't know how to get on a flag pole...so we used push pins to attach to the wall. Not quite the look I was hoping for. The flag is well made and the delivery was great. I sent another flag to my Mom and she was very happy.
