I bought these bowls from amazon in the jellybean colors - red, turquoise, and lime green - not the earth tone colors. I mention this because the colors are so cool and upbeat, they're much of the fun. But they're great mixing bowls - I like the non-slip bottoms, and they have just enough of a handle and pouring lip. I received these bowls as an early Christmas gift and LOVE them. Very sturdy with 3 functional sizes. High sides mean less splashing. I've used them for mixing cookie dough and making casseroles. Easy clean up is a plus!

I purchased this set a few month's back, been so impressed with them, that I went out of my way to offer a review. They are extremely durable, I put something very hot in one of them and it was no problem.
