I chose the The Casio CTK-800 because I liked its ergonomics/button design better than the smilar Yamaha models. I also think it looks better too. But I don't like that the volume control is a small, hard-to-grasp slider, rather than a knob. The knob you see is for the microphone. At first I didn't like the silver color but I gotta admit it grew on me.

The Casio CTK800, is an awesome purchase. Not only does the keyboard itself give me lessons, the teacher had said, that I made a good purchase. Even just listening to the pre recorded songs is enjoyable. The price is right, the qaulity is high. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

I purchased the Casio CTK800 keyboard recently
and I got what I'd expected. What attracted me
to this board was the touch response feature
and 32-polyphony. The sound quality is crisp n'clear,
and for those new to the instrument, there's a
musical staff on the sleek blue lit-display screen.
The built in metronome is also welcome.
