Editorial Review: Product Description: Professional Radon Test Kit, Safe, Easy To Use, 2 Detectors For Accurate Testing, Meets All EPA & State Requirements, Lab Results Within 1 Week, Real Estate Transaction Approved. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Quick DeliveryThis item arrived very quickly. It's an inexpensive way to test for radon in the home for peace of mind. Thanks! Rating: - Don't waste your money on this kit COSTLY and HIGHLY inaccurateThe first kit I bought I got a result of 13.1 which is higher than what the EPA deems as safe radon levels. So I decided to take a second test. This test came back within the safe level of 3.1. Both tests were taken within two weeks of one another and within 20 feet of each other. 2 tests later and over $70 spent on the kits and the lab fees, I still don't know what the real radon levels are in my home. The best part is when I called customer service I spoke to a "service rep" in the Radon ... Read More Rating: - Get a long-term tester instead.I bought one of these 4-day test kits and got a 13.2 reading for my $30. They then recommend that you immediately test AGAIN for another $30. No thanks. I did some on-line research and found out that frozen ground and rain can affect your results, nothing about that in the test kit or results sheet from Pro-Lab. Both of those scenarios came into play during my 4-day test. Instead of giving them another $30, I got the Safety Siren Pro 3 long-term radon detector. It's been going for 7 days now and ... Read More Rating: - not perfect but OKThere is a fee of $20 when you send the used tests in to be analyzed. It says so on the package. So, if you buy it in a store, you know to expect that. I think lab fees are normal for most radon tests. I didn't receive the results in the mail but that may be because we're moving, mail is being forwarded, we're disorganized, etc. I emailed the company and within a couple of days they emailed my results to me. I found their email address on their web site, the web site is listed on the package. Rating: - a lousy co.i would rate this item -10. your page does not indicate that there would be a charge of the $20 for the analysis of the exposed kit.amazon would not give me the phone no. of the company - only an email address-which was invalid. it seems to me that amazon is responsible for any item it advertises on its web page.how about a refund?
