- Brings back memories
I didn't know this was available until recently. What a treat! I caught this tour when Mike came to the States, at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA. A great venue for the show, and what a show it was. If you're reading these reviews then you must already be a fan, so why are you still debating? Buy this DVD already. If you saw this tour it will bring it all flooding back. If you didn't get a chance to see one of these performances, here's the perfect opportunity to see a group of incredible musicians ... A must-have for any fan of Mike Oldfield, Maddy Prior, and/or Gong. I was unaware there was a concert film of the Exposed tour, so when it showed up while I was browsing, I hit Add to Cart instinctively. I was not disappointed. The film quality is about what you'd expect for that time (1979), but it's clear and clean. The editing in the first disc ("Incantations") is a little questionable (focusing on people who aren't doing much while someone off-screen is taking a solo, etc.), but the set includes ... Read More

Absolutely amazing and, yes, worth the price.

I've owned "Exposed," the album, since it was originally released, but this is the first time I've ever actually seen the concert (more accurately, one of the concerts... this was a tour). The quality is quite amazing considering the age, and the performances are terrific, especially Maddy Prior and Pierre Moerlen. The sound quality is excellent and doesn't appear to be "sweetened" for release, excepting perhaps the final applause after each extended ... Read More

Two disc set with disc 1 having no audio. The video was typical late 70s quality, not bad for it's age. Disc 2 played fine with same video quality as disc 1, had audio.
