I really WANT to like Seventh Generation powdered laundry detergent. I believe in the company's focus and have been happy with all of their other products that I've tried. But this detergent is awful. Using hot water, I followed the directions to dissolve detergent in the filling washer before adding clothes. At first I thought I was using too much, so cut way back. I have tried both the powder and liquid Seventh Generation Laundry detergents. Both have bleached color out of clothing items. The first time the company reimbursed me for the cost of the clothes, and told me they were removing the words "color fast" from the product labels (they did). Now that it has happened again I will not be using this product in the future.

I am mother of a 2 year old with hyper-sensitive skin. She gets itchy dry patches that come and go every few days, mostly on her legs but sometimes on her face and hands.
