Went with this one because it is one of the most inexpensive ones available. Don't regret it for a bit. Have used it for about a month so far, and haven't run into any problems. Can't go wrong for the price!

I inserted 2 SD cards (256MB & 512MB) into this reader, and inserted the reader into the USB 2.0 hub on my monitor, and my Mac recognized the cards and downloaded the pictures stored there. It's my first day with this device, but so far I'm extremely happy. it just does what it should and seems to do it fairly quickly.

Also, there are 2 end caps. If you leave an SD card (or esp. a higher-density card like SD-HC) in and put the cap on, you have an inexpensive flash/thumb drive. ... Read More

Item is fantastic. Easy to use, works great with SD Cards, as it should. Got it to do Micro SD data and the connector worked with it with no problems.

If u have a memory card, you have to get a reader writer. This makes it easy for me to access the things on my phone ( music, pics whatever) without a cable...which i dont have anyway. And i can save all sorts of files from my computer and take them wherever I go...just like my memory stick. Get it

Hello. I got this product so that my SD cards could be used as JumpDrives. The advantage of this is because SD cards have a write protect on them and most regular USB JumpDrives don't. When using such drives, they can be vulnerable to picking up viruses from system to system without write protections (read only).
