Yes, the material is low-quality, but for how much it costs, it's surprising that's the only thing bad about this product. It records great, has more than enough memory for everyday use, and transfers onto your computer like a charm. Very easy to use and very reliable. Perfect for recording lectures in class! GREAT BUY! Rating: - Recorder worked greatI bought this recorder to use at a quitar camp and it did everything I wanted it to do. I was able to record 4 lessons a day for 4 days before I had to replace the batteries. There was plenty of memory left. I was able to easily store the lessons in one of 4 seperate folders and it was simple to find each lesson again. When I got home it was easy to transfer all the files to my computer and access them.
