 Rating:  - Fine but not perfect.This touchless trashcan works as advertised. The main drawback in the design, in my opinion, is the choice of D cell batteries. They don't usually come in rechargeable form and can run out faster than the manufacturer's estimate. The alternative AC adapter adds an ugly cord dangling in the back, defeating the purpose of a touchless trashcan which is meant for improving the room's visual appeal. Rating: - Works like it claimsOne thing I hate about these stupid reviews is that people are reviewing different items than the one shown, so the reviews aren't even accurate. Many of the reviews shown here for the NX 23 gallon model are actually for some of the lesser iTouchless trash can models. What a worthless review system. Another thing that is annoying are these people claiming that the unit broke immediately. The stainless steel can is very sturdy and with reasonable care it will not dent. So far it works great and I see no reason to believe that it won't last. I use it in the kitchen where my hands are often messy or full of food scraps. Read More Rating: - Throwing Trash Away could Never be FunnerThis is quite an amazing product. Me and my roommates love the trash can. Just wave the trash in front of it and poof the lid lifts (via battery power for 10,000 times) and you can plop the trash in the bag. The bag is held in this ring of sorts that keeps it in place.
