Editorial Review: Description: Eighteen of the best mixed martial arts fighters, nine Heavyweights and nine Welterweights, have come from around the world to Las Vegas with one dream... to be named The Ultimate Fighter and given a contract in the Ultimate Fighting Championship organization. During the competition, two world-renowned UFC champions, Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin, will train the fighters. The men will endure a grueling regimen of jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, karate, boxing and wrestling. The intense competition between the fighters will continue after they leave the gym, at The Ultimate Fighter House. These warriors will be forced to live with each other, knowing that any day they could be forced to fight each other in the UFC Octagon. In each episode, the teams will compete in a physical challenge to determine who will have to fight. Legendary UFC Champion and Season One coach Randy Couture will design these challenges. They will combine old school training techniques with tests of brute strength. Once the opponents are chosen, the fight is on. They will train, weigh-in and face-off in three five minute rounds. At the end of each week, one fighter from each team must fightin the Octagon to avoid being kicked out of the UFC Training Center until only two remain in each weight division. In the end, The Ultimate Fighter will be decided by a competition match -- a head-to-head fight to the finish inside the Octagon. The Ultimate Fighter 2 also includes fighter profiles,behind-the-scenes footage and the best and worst of the Ultimate Fighter auditions Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - The Ultimate Fighter, Season 2I really enjoyed The Ultimate Fighter,Season 2. It was very interesting seeing how the guys lived and trained in order to obtain a 6 figure contract with the UFC. Rating: - TUF Season 2If you're a fan of the UFC.. I highly recommend getting it. I wish they had an option on the CD's to watch the TV version. I have kids that like to watch this too, but with all the swearing I will not allow them to watch it till they get older. Rating: - Great SeasonAnother great season of TUF. Matt Hughes is quite a dick in the season, but he did the things he needed to when it counted. Not trying to spoil anything, but TUF was a nice underdog story. Oh yeah, never judge a book by its cover Rating: - TUF 2I'm a big fan of the TUF series and I just had to get this DVD. Seasons 1,2, and 4 are the best in my opinion. All of them are definitely good, but those three i can watch over and over. Rating: - Ultimate realityDana White and co did it again. Love this show, it's really addictive. This is even better than the first season in my humble oppinion. We get to see Matt Hughes in a complete new light, man he's a tough coach!
