Editorial Review: Album Description: Japanese pressing of the famed vocalist's 2008 featuring one bonus track: 'Forbidden Colours'. Symphony is Sarah Brightman's first studio album for five years. Recorded in Germany, Symphony features all new songs and is created with Sarah's long-time producer Frank Peterson. The repertoire ranges from beautiful ballads 'Symphony', 'Fleur du Mal' and epic power rock scores 'I Will Be With You' to interpretations of the work 'Jupiter' from Holst's The Planets on 'Running' to Faith Hill's 'There You'll Be' sung in Italian as 'Sarai Qui' and many more. On this album Sarah reunites with Andrea Bocelli to sing 'Canto Della Terra', as well as singing duets with Fernando Lima (Mexican tenor) on 'Passion' and Paul Stanley (Kiss) on 'I Will Be With You (Where The Lost Ones Go) '. The album showcases Sarah linguistic vocal skills by singing in Spanish, Italian, French and for the first time German. EMI. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Symphony album Sarah BrightmanLoved the special on pbs. Same quality on the cd. Songs are excellent. Love Pasion. Rating: - Good music, poor recordingThe music is pretty good that I like it. However, the recording is not good and in fact of poor quality. I tried it on different players and computers, all sounded distorted. It seems that the music was recorded at very loud level, which caused a lot of compression and clipping. Please correct me if anyone thinks it was my players at fault or something else. Rating: - A review for the Japanese editionThere's not much that can be said about this album that someone hasn't said in some form before me. Personally, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I did Harem. For those who enjoy her arias, the music on this CD is substantially inferior to Timeless. That being said, I haven't seen anyone address the song Forbidden Colours or the Japanese packaging. On the side of the packaging, there really isn't much to say. The booklet is essentially the same, with the added inclusion of the white sheet of lyrics ... Rating: - Yet another Brightman winner - wonderfully diverse collection! What a great selection of music! I love the way she mixes it up with rock at the beginning, classical numbers and guest duets. Even the melancholy songs come out beautifully. So much emotion in every song! Thanks to Sarah for providing us with another creative album of music to enjoy. Browse for similar items by category:
