Nice and bright. Really like the two different settings for the light. I like it when I'm commuting since I leave at 3:30 am I can still read and not bother anyone.

I sell book lights. I have been in the electronic gadget business for nearly 40 years. This is a wonderful, traditional book light. It is the only book light that I have used in a fully bright, day lit room. It is very well constructed, easy to set for optimum light control and the light volume is great. i bought this with my Kindle and it gets a lot of use, but the batteries don't seem to last as long as they should seeing as this is an LED light. what else can you say, it's a light, it works and it'll clip to just about anything and it's flexible head seems to stand up well to use.
the dual brightness settings are nice too.

- I clip it to my headboard
This is a great little light. I clip it to my headboard instead of my book and it works out great. There is padding on the clip so it doesn't scratch my headboard. I bought two lights, one for my side and one for my husband's side of the bed. The light is definitely dim enough so it does not bother your partner if they are sleeping. The light also has the ability to be easily manipulated so it is shining directly on your book.
