- rebate is a scam
The product is very good however, the rebate that was advertised never was sent after I purchased it. I called amazon and they were able to email the application but the spitulation was I needed to send an old proof of purchase from my old virus program. mine was over two years old and I lost the paperwork. So the rebate of $24.99 was not available. Its just another big company rebate scam. They know customers never keep or save those old documents and hardly anyone really gets the rebates.

The Kaspersky 7.0 wouldn't work with Windows XP I kept getting error messages and the computer locked up. Removed version 7 and installed the latest download. Then every thing worked great.

- Kapersky caused major problems for my computer
DON'T buy Kaspersky!!!! It caused registry problems to the point I had hard drive failure. I purchased a new HP computer not knowing Kaspersky caused the problem. I loaded Kaspersky on my computer only to contact a trojan virus. Kaspersky did not imediately identify the virus. It allowed the virus to penetrate my computer. Immediately I was impressed with an install that was flawless. Two other Anti-V products I had recently resulted in failed installs and did not utilize them. Also the product runs without my interactions and going well to date. I can see that virus definition updates are occuring at the task bar, not effecting my main screen.
