This looks pretty awesome, I haven't it used it yet because it is a gift for someone. Oh, and it is plastic, not glass as I thought it was, (I really didn't read the description). But, it is well received by different wine publications, so it's probably a safe bet that it works pretty well.

I was introduced to this product while touring the wine country in California. I could not believe how well the Vinturi Wine Aerator worked. By using this product, red wine poured directly from the bottle blossomed with more intricate flavors. The fruits of the wine leap out while the tannens are soften. I've decantered wine and never had the results I have had with this product. I would have never believed the results had I not done the taste test myself.

This little gadget in incredible! My sister visited a winery in Wisconsin and came back raving about this thing. I ordered it from my favorite place and got it today. I bought a bottle of red wine to try it out. (Despite getting a wine appreciation book for Christmas, I do not like any red because of the tannins.) Holy cow!
