Rating:  - Works great!I bought this to soft mount my c550 Garmin and works great! I have a truck so a pretty large dash and clearance under the windshield. Not sure if dash space would be an issue otherwise. Rating: - Garmin should include this as standard accessory ..I recently purchased a Garmin Nuvi 660 and looking at the reviews on Amazon decided ahead of time that I need to purchase this bean bag. I have been able to sucessfully mount the Garmin and it has held it's position. Very easy to remove the GPS and hide this when parked in public place. I think Garmin should make this as a standard accessory. Also I live in CA, where state laws do not allow mounting GPS on the windshield using suction cup. Rating: - Best solution that I've foundI first tried 2 suction cup mounts and one of the air-vent mounts before I tried the friction dashboard mount. This is the only one that I will be keeping, because it's the only one that works. I've used it on the dash of my Honda Civic and Dodge Durango, and it never budged in either of them. With sharp turns and bumpy roads (and off-road), it stayed put. Rating: - Works greatThis new model is much smaller than one I got in a rental car. Works great. Rating: - don't pass up!bought the friction mount when i bought a garmin nuvi 350 and it is great! i wish they would fit i sires radio too, its so easy to take from one car to the other , it doesn't slip or slide, its simply great! |
