Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Perfect for water detection!
The little frogs are definitely a must for anyone who has water issues or just wants to be safe that water does not accumulate in places you are not always in! We have a few spots that sometimes get water and these little guys are great! Very sensitive and the alarm is easy to hear.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - You never know how great it is until it works.
I've had one of these for well over a year. Originally put it in my basement next to the water heater. We had had problems with water in the past (water softener issues, some rain seepage, etc) but we managed to repair those problems. Never heard anything from my little Leakfrog until a couple of nights ago.

In the middle of the night, I heard beeping coming from somewhere. It was enough to wake both me and my dog. Mind you, my bedroom is on the second floor, and the Leakfrog is in the ... Read More

Leak Frog is a clever water leak detector. Basically, water leak detectors are like home smoke detectors except that they alarm with water leaks rather than fire. It takes very little water (maybe 1/16" inch below them) to activate. We have lots of hardwood floors, and have gone through the pain of having them destroyed by leaking refrigerator water lines, so I have become a water-leak-detector geek. While I am not sure that the product will make competitors green with envy, the packaging and price ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My hero, the basement saver!
I've had my Leak frog for a while now, and his job has been pretty cozy just hanging out by the sump pump. Today we had lots of snow and rain, and my wife came home to the sound of "Leaky" buzzing away. Our sump pump failed and the frog alerted my wife before too much damage was done. The siren is loud enough to hear it clearly on the first floor of the house. I wish my sump pump was as reliable as this little guy!!!

Without the leak frog our basement would have severely flooded. We don't ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Leak Frog Saves the Day!!!!
Today, we were home for the MLK holiday when we heard beeping from the basement. It took a few seconds to register what it was - LEAK FROG in action. Our water heater had sprung a leak and the frog saved the day. Sure, the $650 the plumbers charged to replace the water heater was tough to swallow, but what if we weren't home, and what it the frog hadn't have let us know the impending doom... Life is good with the frog!
