I wouldn't want to wear it all day September 6, 2010 Ashley Oliver (AshleyO) I bought this bra because of the positive reviews from other big busted ladies. This bra has its good and bad points. On the good side, bounce is completely eliminated and the support is great. The lack of an underwire is actually a positive thing for once. It does a pretty good job of wicking away sweat so you can actually focus on the workout instead of how much you want to rip off your gross bra. It also hooks in the back so you don't have to worry about the inevitable moment of terror when you're stuck with one arm up in the air and not sure whether you're going to need help pulling the thing off over your head. The bra goes through the washing machine just fine, I don't even use a lingerie bag.
On the bad side, it's a uni-boober. It's reasonably comfortable when it's on but when I take it off my breasts actually hurt for a minute while blood circulation resumes. I guess that's the tradeoff for awesome support. My biggest problem with this bra is the paranoid backup snap. The bra fastens with two normal bra hooks (which are plenty in my opinion) but has an extra flap of fabric that closes over those hooks with single plastic snap. That stupid plastic snap does not stay snapped so you're left with a flap of fabric that feels like a bug crawling on back during the entire workout. You can't wear the bra without a shirt because of the flap and you can see it as an ugly bump through your shirt. I'm going to try to remove the plastic snap and sew on a new one of better quality.
The only thing I wear if I want support!! March 19, 2010 TK (Southern California) After many years of this style being made, this is still the best sports bra around. I am a true 32 D, love high impact sports, but demands zero bounce. I'm always curious to see if there is anything new or better, but the Champion Action Shape is the best I've found for support.
I am petite, so many others don't have enough adjustment in the shoulder straps & are too long. This has lots of adjustment whether you are tall or short.
It is also great looking if this is all you wear for a run. Try to find it in colors! I cannot say enough good things about this one.
Absolutely, try this sports bra if you are well endowed and trying to keep the sag away...
I'm a convert! December 4, 2009 A. Mulhern (Baghdad) I usually use the really cute looking Nike sports bras that come in all different colors but I'm on a deployment and I didn't want to bring those with me. I ordered these because they looked basic and they weren't too expensive and they had good reviews. I LOVE THEM! I'm a runner and I wear a C/D cup and these bras are awesome. They give you so much support without smashing your boobs to your chest or creating the "uni-boob" that you get from most sports bras. I ran a few miles to test it out and had pretty much no bounce, the bra did exactly what you want a sports bra to do. I highly recommend these!
Greatest sports bra ever! June 26, 2009 green girl 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I am a 36 DD, and have a very hard time finding sports bras that actually work. No pull over the head ones for me. I am a horseback rider and 5 day a week runner, and play tennis and soccer, so I need a bra that will hold everything in place, no bouncing down the street. I had found this bra years ago in the mall and loved it, I bought 5. They lasted years with heavy wear. I had trouble finding them again however, as the stores in the mall no longer carried them. I tried a few other bras in the meantime, but none of them could compare to this one. Even my old worn out champion bras were better than any new ones I tried. I was so happy to find them online, and at half the price! For big busted women who want as little movement as possible, this is the only bra for you! I will never buy another type.
Best for big breasts. December 20, 2008 Fyregal (Oregon, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is absolutely the best bra for larger breasted women. I am a 34D and this bra holds the girls in place even when running cross country. No rubbing, no chafing, and everything stays in place.
